Modern Methods provides Decide For Us, an app designed to help people choose activities, discover nearby options, plan date nights, explore events, and organize trips. Questions about this policy may be sent to support@modernmethods.it.com.

Information we may process

• Account information: information used to create, authenticate, or manage an account, such as an identifier or email address when an account feature is used.
• Location information: approximate or precise location when you grant permission, used to provide nearby places, events, distance, and location-aware recommendations.
• Preferences and app content: selections such as interests, date, group size, budget, distance, saved items, favorites, trip details, and feedback you submit.
• Purchase status: subscription or entitlement information needed to provide Premium features. Apple processes payment details; Modern Methods does not receive your full payment-card information from Apple.
• Device, usage, and diagnostics: app version, device or operating-system information, feature interactions, crash or error information, and similar technical data used to operate and improve the app.
• Support communications: the content and contact details you provide when asking for help or making a privacy request.

How information is used

• Provide, personalize, maintain, and secure Decide For Us.
• Generate and display recommendations based on your selections and permitted location.
• Remember saved choices and synchronize account-related features where available.
• Verify Premium access and support purchase restoration.
• Troubleshoot errors, respond to support requests, prevent misuse, and improve reliability.
• Meet legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.

Location controls

Location access is controlled through your device settings. You may deny or revoke it at any time, although nearby recommendations and other location-dependent features may then be unavailable or less relevant.

When information may be shared

Modern Methods may disclose the information needed to operate the app to service providers that support functions such as hosting, authentication, databases, analytics, crash reporting, places or event information, mapping, and recommendation services. These providers process information under their own terms or on Modern Methods’ behalf. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.

Apple handles App Store downloads, payments, subscription management, and related account activity under Apple’s privacy practices. Third-party places, maps, and event services may supply content shown in the app; their data practices apply when you interact with their services or links.

Sale of personal information

Modern Methods does not sell personal information for money. Modern Methods does not use sensitive information to make decisions about eligibility for employment, housing, credit, insurance, or similar services.

Retention and security

Information is retained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, maintain legitimate business records, resolve disputes, meet legal requirements, and protect the service. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of the information. Modern Methods uses reasonable safeguards, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and rights

You may control permissions through device settings, manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple Account, and request access, correction, or deletion by contacting us. Rights vary by location. We may need to verify a request before acting on it.

Children’s privacy

Decide For Us is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. Modern Methods does not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request review and deletion.

International processing

Information may be processed in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, Modern Methods uses appropriate measures intended to protect information transferred across borders.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated as Decide For Us changes. The effective date above will be revised when an update is posted. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or another appropriate method.
